The full Call for Contribution description with submission guidelines is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ssecommons.cei.iscte-iul.pt\/call-for-contributions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"2\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We are facing unprecedented times, marked not only by climate collapse, but also the tearing of the social fabric, due to increased socioeconomic inequality, political polarization, mistrust of institutions and expertise, bellicism, and erosion of an international rules-based order.<\/p>\n<p>Such context is contributing to a growing interest in the performance\u00a0 of the role of \u201csocial learning spaces\u201d by community-led initiatives (CLIs) where alternatives to the status quo are experimented with, enacted, and coordinated (Egmose, Hauggaard-Nielsen, and Jacobsen 2022).<\/p>\n<p>We invite researchers, practitioners, activists and policymakers to submit proposals for contributions to this conference, focusing on how CLIs\u00a0 contribute to the regeneration of socioeconomic systems threatened or affected by social, ecological, institutional or political collapse, namely by promoting cultural (including ethical) perspectives that emphasise cyclicity over linearity, therefore supporting regenerative and tendentially post-extractivist approaches to livelihoods.<\/p>\n<header class=\"entry-header\">\n<p class=\"entry-title\"><strong><br \/>\nImportant dates<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<ul>\n<li>Opening of registrations\u00a0\u2013 July 1st<\/li>\n<li>Deadline for submission of proposals \u2013\u00a0May 31st 2025<\/li>\n<li>Notification of contributors\u00a0\u2013 June 30th<\/li>\n<li>Deadline for registration (conference presenters)\u00a0\u2013 October 6th<\/li>\n<li>Publication of the Final Programme\u00a0\u2013\u00a0October 15th<\/li>\n<li>Deadline for registration (non-presenters)\u00a0\u2013 October 25th<\/li>\n<li>Beginning of the conference\u00a0\u2013 November 26th<\/li>\n<li>Submission of full paper for peer review and publication \u2013\u00a0January 15th 2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This year\u2019s theme is\u00a0\u201d\u00a0Collapse and Regeneration:\u00a0Community-led initiatives prefiguring liveable futures\u201c.
