{"id":5073,"date":"2019-04-26T15:24:25","date_gmt":"2019-04-26T14:24:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ripess.eu\/?p=5073"},"modified":"2021-03-29T15:58:38","modified_gmt":"2021-03-29T14:58:38","slug":"the-fair-times-campaign-for-a-fair-and-sustainable-europe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.eu.ripess.rio20.net\/en\/the-fair-times-campaign-for-a-fair-and-sustainable-europe\/","title":{"rendered":"The Fair Times campaign: for a fair and sustainable Europe"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thefairtimes.eu\/\">The Fair Times campaign<\/a> is a pan-European campaign coordinated by<br> five civil society network organisations calling for a fair and sustainable European consumption and production agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Together with the <a href=\"http:\/\/fairtrade-advocacy.org\/\">FTAO<\/a>, which leads the global Fair Trade movement\u2019s advocacy at EU level, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifoam-eu.org\/\">IFOAM EU<\/a> (European umbrella organisation for organic food and farming), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cidse.org\/\">CIDSE <\/a>(International family of Catholic social justice organisations), RIPESS-Europe (RIPESS Europe is the European network for the Promotion of Social Solidarity Economy) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ecolise.eu\">ECOLISE<\/a> (European network for community-led initiatives on sustainability and climate change) are representing their respective movements through<br> a campaign that is a little different from the usual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The campaign is centred on a special edition of \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/thefairtimes.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/ftao_newspaper_EN_web.pdf\">The Fair Times\u2019 newspaper from 2024<\/a>, the end of the next European Parliament term.
