{"id":339691,"date":"2024-12-06T12:39:43","date_gmt":"2024-12-06T11:39:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ripess.eu\/?p=339691"},"modified":"2024-12-09T08:17:30","modified_gmt":"2024-12-09T07:17:30","slug":"socioeco-org-resources-for-december-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.eu.ripess.rio20.net\/en\/socioeco-org-resources-for-december-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Socioeco.org resources for December 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On October 3, 2024, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe unanimously adopted <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.socioeco.org\/bdf_fiche-legislation-311_en.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Resolution 2577 on Guaranteeing the Right to Food<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. In November different actors came together during a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.socioeco.org\/bdf_fiche-video-5938_en.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">webinar<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> organised by among other FIAN Belgium and the European coordination of La Via Campesina, to discuss the resolution and to explore implications for the elaboration of progressive food policies in Europe. As to date, no member states of the 46 EU states has a legislative framework which recognises the right to healthy food and the resolution was expressed as being hoped to \u2018energise the food movement.\u2019\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The global food sovereignty movement for its part then has continued its mobilising and organising towards the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/socioeco.org\/bdf_sites_en.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Third Ny\u00e9l\u00e9ni Global Forum<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, whilst inspireer.org came out with a new series \u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">D\u00e9clics &amp; des Claques &#8211; <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">l&#8217;\u00e9mission qui inspire de nouvelles vocations<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">in which the first episode wanting to inspire other (livelyhood future) shows the story of an <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.socioeco.org\/bdf_fiche-video-5937_en.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">agroecology initiative on Lofoten<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. How then our cooking and heating can happen via direct solar power (no batteries) is shown <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.socioeco.org\/bdf_fiche-video-5935_en.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">These are just some of the resources recently put up on Socioeco.org showcasing the wealth of work currently undertaken to change on different levels our globally so interdependent food system, in order to work towards the potential for systemic change this has.
