On April 18, 2023, The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) adopted the resolution \u201cPromoting the Social and Solidarity Economy for Sustainable Development<\/a>\u201d. One year later, the\u00a0UN Inter-Agency Task Force on Social and Solidarity Economy<\/a> hosted an online webinar on April 18, 2024 from 1:30 \u2013 2:45 pm CEST<\/strong>\u00a0to highlight progress that has been made at the international and regional level.<\/p>\n

During this event Prof Denison Jayasooria, Former Chair, Asian Solidarity Economy Council (ASEC, a Member Of RIPESS For ASIA) and Head of Secretariat, All Party Parliamentary Group Malaysia on SDGs, with his presntation shared insights of the advancements of the SSE in Asia from the perspective of the SSE actors movement, Social and solidarity economy initiatives and the impact of collaborative efforts across the region.<\/p>\n
