On the counterpoint of the present system, SSE actors prioritize the protection of life and cultures and the empowerment of subaltern social groups through promoting democratic solidarity and creating autonomous public spaces; From Senegal to France and from Malaysia to Canada, <\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><u><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/ripess.eu\/en\/atlas-of-utopias-launch-transformative-cities\/\"><span lang=\"en-US\">cooperatives, communities, organisations, practitioners<\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> and supporters create networks, alliances,<\/span><span style=\"color: #0563c1\"><u><a href=\"https:\/\/ripess.eu\/en\/the-gpr2c-global-platform-for-right-to-the-city-at-the-2nd-session-of-the-un-habitat-assembly\/\"><span lang=\"en-US\"> <span style=\"color: #0000ff\">gatherings<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> and forums in order to raise the voice of the real diverse and transformative potentials.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Inter-cooperation and knowledge sharing is a powerful way for addressing global challenges, such as <\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><u><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/ripess.eu\/en\/right-to-food-and-food-justice\/\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Right to Food and Food Justice<\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">, but there is one more reason why the international dimension has great importance for SSE transformative vision. That is the concept of \u201cplural\u201d aspect of the economy as proposed by Jean L<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">o<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">uis Laville and the great importance of global south for the formation of new frameworks beyond the Western-centric market logic, growth, effectiveness and metrics of impact, happiness, and wellness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">SSE practices from Latin America, Asia, and Africa hidden or unprecedented at the European public discourse highlight other perspectives of living, producing, connecting. Economic activity is embedded in social and political life, economy is organized within communities, they prioritize members\u2019 needs. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">T<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">he protection of \u201cBuen vivir\u201d in Brazil, or \u201cPachamama\u201d of the indigenous of the Andes or <\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><u><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/ripess.eu\/en\/teranga-solidarity-lives-in-senegal\/\"><span lang=\"en-US\">\u201cTeranga\u201d in Senegal<\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> is the vision, the social goal, the political structure.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Such, the international dimension of SSE is a prerequisite to form an inclusive concept which \u201cleaves no one behind\u201d meaning that economies, social structures, initiatives which do not comply with the standards of the market \u201csuccess\u201d, the investors or the promoters, are kept hidden or being characterized as backward or the ones coming from \u201cunderdeveloped\u201d countries or neglected as non-economic. SSE international dimension tries to reclaim economic principles such as redistribution, mutuality, householding <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">care<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">, exchange and the diverse practices all over the world are the ones that bear witness to it. We are pleased to share with you our valuable experience from Global Social and Solidarity Economy Forum 2023 in Dakar though <\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><u><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/ripess.eu\/en\/podcast-caravane-jeunesse-gsef23-supporting-the-future-of-solidarity-in-africa\/\"><span lang=\"en-US\">podcast<\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> and<\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><u><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/ripess.eu\/en\/podcast-in-spanish_-interview-with-ernestina-afro-peruvian-leader-and-care-worker-in-dakar\"><span lang=\"en-US\"> interviews<\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> with African activists and companions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">The latest international declarations highlighting the value of the SSE are encouraging for all those who have been involved, sometimes for many years, in developing solutions to the climate, social and democratic emergency, which are now validated by international bodies.
