Both are members of USSEN, the North America member of RIPESS Intercontinental :<\/p>\n<div class=\"scrutari-fiche-Block\" data-scrutari-block=\"fiche_54019\">\n<div class=\"scrutari-fiche-Body \">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"scrutari-fiche-Titre\"><a class=\"scrutari-fiche-Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.socioeco.org\/bdf_fiche-document-8074_en.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-scrutari-link=\"fiche_54019\"> Implementing alternatives on a small-but-replicable scale &#8211; Winston-Salem, NC, <span class=\"scrutari-Mark\">United<\/span> <span class=\"scrutari-Mark\">States<\/span> , <\/a>Island CultureZ, 2022.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Island CultureZ is a neighbourhood-level solidarity economy initiative. It is working in a predominantly Black neighbourhood to protect it from gentrification, build community wealth and political influence, produce its own food, and institute cooperative economics for a more resilient future. This neighbourhood has faced negative political and economic pressures for decades and covid-19 has helped expose those realities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"scrutari-fiche-Block\" data-scrutari-block=\"fiche_54016\">\n<div class=\"scrutari-fiche-Body \">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"scrutari-fiche-Titre\"><a class=\"scrutari-fiche-Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.socioeco.org\/bdf_fiche-document-8071_en.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-scrutari-link=\"fiche_54016\"> Collaborative call to collective action : Creative solutions that ensure ecological, economic, and racial justice. (<span class=\"scrutari-Mark\">United<\/span> <span class=\"scrutari-Mark\">States<\/span>) <\/a>, Creative Wildfire, 2022<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Creative Wildfire is a collaborative call to collective action from frontline communities, represented by Climate Justice Alliance, Movement Generation, and New Economy Coalition, and endorsed by the US Solidarity Economy Network, to resist a post-covid return to normal and build a just transition now.<\/p>\n<p class=\"scrutari-fiche-Motcle\"><span class=\"scrutari-Mark\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After the mid-term elections in the United States, here are two interesting examples of resistance.
