{"id":32875,"date":"2022-10-06T13:50:20","date_gmt":"2022-10-06T12:50:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ripess.eu\/solidarity-tourism-alternative-ways-to-promote-the-mobility-of-young-people\/"},"modified":"2022-10-10T14:00:29","modified_gmt":"2022-10-10T13:00:29","slug":"solidarity-tourism-alternative-ways-to-promote-the-mobility-of-young-people","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.eu.ripess.rio20.net\/en\/solidarity-tourism-alternative-ways-to-promote-the-mobility-of-young-people\/","title":{"rendered":"Solidarity tourism : alternative youth mobility"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"justify\"><em>Article by Andrea Rodr\u00edguez Vald\u00e9s, RIPESS Europe<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">As the last phase of the Erasmus + Solidarity Tourism project, we have published a guide for young people with several examples of Solidarity Tourism and with an explanation of what we mean by a sustainable tourism practice.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">In it we talk about why it is important to change our forms of mobility, what are the alerts that we must take into account when making our trips, avoiding paternalism, volunteering in the Global South that reproduce neocolonial dynamics, but above all, we present different organizations and alternatives to travel responsibly and sustainably putting in value the principles of the Social Solidarity Economy.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><a name=\"_GoBack\"><\/a>We mention Tourism for local development, from the perspective of <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.koanconsulting.com\/\">KOAN<\/a><\/u><\/span>, educational tourism, from <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grandiraventure.voyage\/\">Grandir Aventure<\/a><\/u><\/span>, the inclusive tourism, of <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><u><a href=\"https:\/\/m.facebook.com\/cooperativacresacor\/?locale2=es_LA\">Cre\u00e7asor<\/a><\/u><\/span>, the community-based tourism of <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.use-it.travel\/home\">Use It <\/a><\/u><\/span>and <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><br \/>\n<u><a href=\"https:\/\/fairbnb.coop\/es\/\">Fairbnb<\/a><\/u><\/span>, nature-focused tourism and respect for the environment with <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outheretour.com\/\">Outheretour<\/a><\/u><\/span>, and finally, the cultural tourism of <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><u><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mygrantour.org\/en\/\">Migrant Tour<\/a><\/u><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">So, we start by asking ourselves when you travel, do you contribute to the well-being of local populations? Do you have a sustainable and fair attitude towards the country you visit? Do you respect their cultural integrity, their fauna and flora, their trade, their customs&#8230;? Have you ever wondered about the negative effects of your travels?
