International and local actors in the Social &amp; Solidarity Economy (SSE) brought\u00a0together to reflect on the collective impact of the sector and create a vision for the future.<\/p>\n<p>Organized by the <a title=\"Tunisian Center for Social Entrepreneurship\" href=\"https:\/\/tcse.network\/\">Tunisian Center for Social Entrepreneurship<\/a> in partnership with <a title=\"Asamblea de Cooperaci\u00f3n Por la Paz (ACPP)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.acpp.com\/\">Asamblea de Cooperaci\u00f3n Por la Paz (ACPP)<\/a>, the <a title=\"Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom\" href=\"https:\/\/www.freiheit.org\/\">Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom<\/a> and <a title=\"Oxfam\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oxfam.org\/en\">Oxfam<\/a>, the conference had a central theme, &#8220;How do we envision the future of the social and solidarity economy?&#8221;, and it was an intense exchange of experiences between the participants and partners of the project.<\/p>\n<p>The conference programme conducted by Ms. Leila Ben Gacem, included a plenary session related to &#8220;social impact beyond trends&#8221;; a panel discussion entitled <strong>&#8220;Our collective journey&#8221;<\/strong> about striving for a more collaborative SSE ecosystem: in-depth knowledge, key findings, and recommendations; a question and answer session; the workshop <strong>&#8220;Our collective learnings&#8221;<\/strong> on the co-production of public policies, access to funding and the development of SSE; and the dissemination of capitalized projects by MedRiSSE, like <a title=\"MedUP project\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oxfamitalia.org\/medup\/\">MedUP project<\/a> which is already concluding.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop\u00a0<strong>&#8220;A common vision of the future of SSE&#8221;<\/strong> was also among the main goals of the conference.This closing session opened horizons for the future of the social &amp; solidarity economy sector, based on the contributions of the people who participated.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore,\u00a0<strong>the Mediterranean Co-production Laboratory and the MedRiSSE wiki were presented<\/strong> as tools that will help the participatory development of SSE public policies.
