ZMAG (Green Network of Activist Groups) organised Our Good Food \u2013 conference on sustainability of food systems in a beautifull old cinema Europa building in the centre of Zagreb. The event started on the 15th of September with a theater screening of documentary Inhabit: A Permaculture Perspective and later a talk with the director of the movie Costa Boutsikaris. On Saturday 16th of September there was a whole day conference with 100+ participants and the place got too small place for so many interested people. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Even more important, participants were very active in Q&A, debates and round tables about many important subjects within agroecology and sustainable food system topics such as: the health and vitality of the food we are eating, effects and impacts of ecologically friendly food production, new models of eco food productions and citizens\u2019 solidarity-based groups (CSAs\u2019, consumers cooperatives etc.) that are supporting local eco-food producers.\u00a0After the Conference regional food activist from Croatia, Serbia and BiH had a Forum about food policies in the region and after haven giveninformations about the situation in each country, most of the discussion revolved around the needs for a better communication and coordination in activism for responsible, solidary and sustainable food systems in the region.\u00a0ZMAG will hold a second conference Our Good Food next year.<\/p>\n
